WHAT IS THE VIRCON?

The Economic Crash of 2008, in my opinion, ushered in a new era of school marketing. It was out of the Crash that SchneiderB.com was born as well as my school's shift to using the internet, including inbound marketing and social media marketing, to attract new families and retain our current families. 

The Economic Crash also had a negative effect on school budgets. As a result, schools are getting smarter about how they spend money on things like marketing, advertising, and even professional development.

Overall, the need for professional development has never been greater, but the dollars available have been shrinking, creating tension to find professional development opportunities that deliver incredible value. It's this tension that I'm hoping to ease with the launch of the SchneiderB School Marketing Virtual Conference or VirCon.

Traditional conferences are expensive.

Their costs include expensive registration fees, airfare, hotel costs, food, and drink - total costs can add up to thousands of dollars depending on how far you have to travel. To make matters worse, how often have you heard that a successful conference is one where you can take one or two items back to your school to implement?

Spend thousands of dollars on one or two items - that just doesn't add up anymore.

For the SchneiderB VirCon4, I've recruited seven school marketing experts, including me, to present virtually on one day, March 20, 2017. We are ushering in a new type of school professional development - welcome to the SchneiderB VirCon 4.

What if I can't attend the day of the conference?

Not a problem! If you can't make it to the live presentations it's OK. Everyone who registers will have access to the presentation recordings at SchneiderB.com for 1 year from March 20.

How long is each presentation?


Each presentation will last no more than 60 minutes and will include time for viewer questions.
